| Personal History | Katya is an orphan. She was raised in the Jaden orphanage by Miss Caroline Ellis. She was the only parent Katya had ever known. Whenever Katya asked about her parents, Miss Caroline just said that she promised not to tell. This made Katya mad at first but eventually she understood. She was always looking out for the other kids. Any bullies were soon taught a lesson. Miss Caroline understood that Katya was a protector. She encouraged her to keep being a protector. Still she wonders who her parents were. The only clue is a signet ring she has. It belonged to her mother supposedly. She has never been able to find anything about the ring or the design. She hopes someday, she will find out who they were. She took her middle name Caroline from Miss Caroline to honor her. She took the last name Charbonnier because she liked the sound of it. At 18 She joined the city guard. She spent 4 years there. She did make several friends but after 4 years she felt she needed to go her own way. So now she is a warrior for higher. She has worked for the chantry on several occasions. Being a worshiper of Andraste, it was a pleasure and she was paid fairly well and had earned good will from the chantry. |
