June 2023 on Dragon Age: Legacy

DA:L's writers completed three posts in June. We have almost come to the end of the 'Hall of the Phantom Shadow' plot. The next 'mission' will be called 'Summer Nights in Jader' and will consist of vignettes in and around Jader.

Summary of the posts completed in June
On the second floor of the mansion, Skeld, Elinowy, Kalian, and Rhiannon heard a woman's voice from behind a door that was barred from the outside. They entered to find Lilith, an apostate who confessed to using blood magic to animate corpses. She explained that she had been looking for her son Luca, sent to an orphanage in Jader, when the bandit leader captured her and threatened her child if she didn't cooperate. The group dispatched a possessed corpse in the room below and paused at the kitchen and sounds coming from the cellar below.
Meanwhile, Nazri, Katya, and Kithris entered the bandit camp cave and followed steps down into a tunnel with adjoining rooms. They wisely left the door of a room full of animated corpses shut, and explored the other rooms. The group three adventurers found a variety of stored loot including jewelry and coins, along with a letter written to the bandit leader on a dairy invoice addressed to the orphanage run by Katya's mother. The last room was similar to the cellar of a house, with stairs leading up, and voices coming from the room above.
Continuing the story of Nazri as a young qunari in Rivain, after shopping at the market, Nazri and Kyle enjoyed each other for the remainder of the day and a late morning the next, finally leaving the city gates around noon. Along the way to the region where they planned to hunt a wyvern, they talked about public displays of affection, Nazri's life in the Qun and experiences hiding his mage abilities, and the consequences he'd face if caught. The two agreed their hunting strategy.
