July 2021 on Dragon Age Legacy

Summary of posts completed in July. There were six!
The gathering at the Raven's Roost (after the return to Jader from the mine) continued. Cainan, Martin, and Jaslyn attempted to persuade their new dwarven acquaintance, Harlowe, to divulge the details of Harlowe's recent mercenary employment.
Elinowy's bath was interrupted by the accidental intrusion of Dominic, a bespectacled foreign Potioneer, whilst he was looking for the privy. As a humorous series of miscommunications ensued, Kalian and Rhiannon responded to Elinowy's scream and rushed from the tavern common room to Elinowy's rescue. Kalian directed Dominic to the outhouse, and returned to the common room, while Rhiannon assisted Elinowy with her bath and braided her hair.
The impromptu party ended, with Rhiannon and Elinowy returning to the group. Martin and Elinowy left for their meeting with Elder Isouda in the chantry. Rhiannon bought a round of dwarven ale for Cainan, Jaslyn, Harlowe, Kalian, and herself.
A couple of days later, after indulging in intensive rest and recreation, Jaslyn and Cainan visited Hahren Liriel in the alienage, intending to confirm that Julanna was dead, the circumstances (murdered by Gerlach Robertson), and to offer condolences to Julanna's family. Liriel's disapproval turned to welcome when she understood who Cainan was.
That night, Elder Isouda had a secret meeting with Carlos Acerbi, a second to Gerlach Robertson, and asked him to arrange the transport of several cases of wine from Val Royeaux to Jader. Carlos planned to offer the job to Rhiannon's mother.
The next day, Kalian visited Rhiannon on her mother's ship, the Night's Kiss, bringing her treats from a bakery. In between back-and-forth suggestive flirtation, Rhiannon offered Kalian a job as her part time lookout and protector, and he accepted. His first assignment would be that night.
On Cloudreach 24th, the last day of school before the Summerday festival begins on the 25th, Martin arrived at the chantry school to collect his friend and landlord Raoul's adopted elven children, Fey (age 6) and Arran (age 4). Kalian also arrived to collect his niece Iris (age 4). Together, the uncles and children walked to one of the outdoor stands setup by a local baker in preparation for Summerday and ordered treats and drinks. Martin and Kalian chatted, but due to the presence of the children and the public location were unable to say too much. They plan to spend more time together during the festival.
