Summary of posts completed in August

In a continuation of the story of how Katya and Kalian became friends 3.5 years in the past during the blight, Katya and Kalian went hunting together in the forest northwest of Jader. They chatted and stalked a herd of deer, and each shot and killed a buck.

In the current timeline late at night on the first day of the Summerday festival, Katya and Elinowy return to the Raven's Roost tavern with potioner Dominic who begins to analyze the poisoned wine. Martin, Rhiannon, and Kalian also return from Carlos Acerbi's warehouse with evidence (Acerbi's ledger and a letter) that circumstantially incriminates Guard Captain Landry and a handful of city guards, and Elder Isouda who is in line to become Jader's Revered Mother if something happens to Mother Giselle.

The group theorizes that the wine will likely be served at the Chantry banquet on the third day of the Summerday festival. The group makes plans. Rhiannon will have Acerbi followed, Elinowy will attempt to speak with Giselle, Martin will speak with trustworthy guards, and Kalian will attempt to gain access to the chantry wine cellar. Meanwhile, Dominic will create an antidote for the poison.

The adventure finale is currently in progress! The next adventure will be a dungeon crawl through a derelict mansion. What could go wrong?
