Summary of posts completed in December
The day after the end of the Summerday festival, Elinowy met Mother Giselle for tea in her private chamber. They briefly discussed Elder Isouda's treachery and ambition, Elinowy's recovery from being poisoned, and Kalian's apostasy.
Giselle asked Elinowy about her journey of discernment, and Elinowy explained she is on the path of a Seeker of Truth and was commissioned by the Grand Cleric to take on the role of an impoverished sister, with no belongings, unable to accept refuge or aid from the Chantry, so that she might seek the will of the Maker in her life. Elinowy also reveals the mysterious runes tattooed on her stomach by her seeker order.
On the evening before Kalian invited his friends to meet for dinner at the Raven's Roost, Atria, the Tevinter ex-pat, came to the Raven's Roost looking for a little quiet while her wife and extended family hosted a crowd of old friends in their lighthouse home, refugees they'd helped during the Blight. Atria and Kalian, old friends, had a chat about recent events.
Continuing the current quest, the adventurers assembled outside the Raven's Roost and made ready to depart for the haunted mansion. Katya volunteered to take the reins and tied her horse, Thunder, to the wagon. Kithris sat in the driver's seat next to her. Nazri and Martin climbed into the back of the wagon together. Skeld sprawled in a corner of the wagon, and was joined by Elinowy. Kalian and Rhiannon cuddled up in another corner.
On the way to the haunted mansion, Kithris told Katya about Aravels and Hallas, and their romance continued to bloom. Elinowy expressed interest in Skeld's numerous tattoos and Skeld offered both explanations and to give Elinowy a tattoo. All of them talked about the likely possibility of encountering blood magic, and how they would deal with it.
Ten years in the past:
After spending the night only sleeping next to Nazri, Kyle awakes from unchaste dreams. They kiss more, and Kyle gives Nazri another 'lesson.'
The two eat breakfast and talk about the danger qunari mage hunters pose to Nazri. Kyle mentions his past membership in a street gang. They decide to visit Kyle's seer/mage benefactor who owns the building including the shop downstairs.
